• Students are worthy of a wide-ranging program of study that endows them with the tools with which to succeed in a global society characterized by certain and constant change.
• Learning how to learn is the most valuable lesson for all students regardless of age or learning style.
• Education is a process requiring clear and continual communication among all members of the learning community.
• All stakeholders have a direct interest, involvement, and investment in the learning process and share a responsibility for the success of each student.
• School system and stakeholder resources must adequately support the commonly held goals and objectives for student achievement.
• Learning is most effective when the educational program aligns with scientifically-based research and reflects analysis of disaggregated system-wide data.
