Beta Club
Bolivar Elementary School is a member of the National Junior
Beta Club, which is available to students in grades five through nine.
To become a member, a student must make the honor roll 5 out of 6
times in 4th grade and the 1st time in 5th grade to be eligible.
Good conduct is also a criterion for membership. Once a
student is a member, grades must be maintained or he/she will be put on
probation. Misconduct can result in removal from the club.
Educational trips are taken throughout the year.
This year the BES Beta Club joined forces with the Bolivar Fire Department to collect toys for the Toys for Tots Drive. Santa Claus personally came by to endorse the program. Students were asked to bring new toys, candy, gum, etc. Beta students collected them each day.

Science Club
This year's Science Club has sent toys and socks to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. They are also working hard to raise community and school awareness of the importance of recycling.
