The BMS Boys' Basketball Team begins the 2007-08 season in November. Preliminary tryouts are held in the spring with final tryouts in the fall. Coach O'Neil is the head coach.
In February 2007 the Tigers won the Tennessee Middle School State Sectional Championship by defeating Middleton Middle School by a score of 50-47.
