5th Graders Complete Study of Biomes
Fifth grade students displayed successful biome boxes in the hall at HES for all students to see. Students of all ages were captivated by the representations. The fifth graders completed this unit in science with Mrs. Ross.
Fire Prevention Week at HES
Hornsby Elementary Pre-K, Kindergarten, and 1st grade students learn about fire prevention in October with safety lessons, a visit to Bolivar Fire Dept., and a visit to the school by Hornsby Fire Dept.
