Middleton Elementary School is a member of the National Junior Beta Club, which is available to students in grades five through nine. Junior Beta Club at M.E.S. is open to fifth and sixth grade honor students. In order to be eligible for membership, the student must have honor roll 5 out of 6 times in the fourth grade. Good behavior is also a criterion. New members are inducted during the November PTO Meeting. Once a student is a member, grades must be maintained or he/she will be put on probation. Misconduct can result in removal from the club. They attend the Junior Beta Convention held in Nashville each November.

The Beta Club students went to the Orpheum Theater to see the Lion King.
The Middleton Elementary School Junior Beta Club completed community service hours by visiting and singing with the residents at the Middleton Care Center on Friday, November 2, 2007. They also cleaned up trash at the park in Middleton. Thank you for being great leaders in our community.
