Our Mission
Our mission at Middleton Elementary School is to prepare our students to be lifelong learners by enabling them to gain the knowledge and skills needed to meet the challenges of our ever-changing world. The students will become responsible citizens who will make meaningful contributions to and for the future generations.
Our Beliefs
Student learning is the chief priority for the school. All students can learn.
Students need to not only demonstrate their understanding of essential knowledge and skills, but also need to be actively involved in solving problems and producing quality work.
Students learn in different ways and should be provided with a variety of instructional approaches to support their learning.
Students learn best when they are actively engaged in the learning process.
Challenging expectations increase individual student performance.
Each student is a valued individual with unique physical, social, emotional, and intellectual needs.
Teachers, administrators, parents, and the community share the responsibility for advancing the school's mission.
The commitment to continuous improvement is imperative for our school to make our students become confident, self-directed, lifelong learners.
