Middleton Elementary held its annual school Spelling Bee for grades 4-6 on December 11, 2007. We would like to congratulate the top spellers: First place, Ben Bishop; Second place, Tyler Mercer ; and Third place Lindsey Baldwin. The alternate is Nikki Sneed. Congratulations to all those who particpated. The top three winners will respresent our school at the County Spelling Bee in January.
Ben Bishop placed second in the Hardeman County Spelling Bee. We are very proud of him and the way he represents Middleton Elementary.
Congratulations go out to Bradley Sullivan and Blake Tranum for placing Honorable Mention in the Bird Dog Foundation's Student Art Contest.
Congratulations to Chase Giles for his song "The Rolling Hills of Tennessee" which was one of the six winners from all of West Tennessee in the Making Melodies Contest. Chase's song will be performed by the Jackson Symphony on March 7, 2008.
