This year Beta Club members consist of 21 students from grades 6th to 8th, the Beta Club has also added a few 5th graders. These students are not full members of the Beta Club but they are allowed to participate in some of the annual activities with the Beta Club. The 5th grade students are getting a first hand look so next year they will be ready for full membership. The Beta Club does community service projects at local churches, our neighborhoods, and at school. Beta Club students also help students within their own classes by peer tutoring. Whiteville Elementary Beta Club participates in the National Beta Club Convention held in Nashville, Tennessee. Beta Club Sponsors are Mrs. Cheryl Jones and Ms. Shay Murden.
